Florida 6-Hour Mature Driver Course (FLMDC)
This is the Florida 6-Hour Mature Driver course. Florida allows drivers 55 years and older to take this course in order to receive an auto insurance discount. The material you are studying has been reviewed and approved by the State of Florida. The Florida Statute (F.S.) 627.0652 and Chapter 15A-8 of the Florida Administrative Code regulates the Mature Driver course. Insurance companies will often require to re-take this course every 3 years in order to maintain the discount.
